Thanks for the info thats good to know.

Will try some of the sites you have mentioned.

The number of the UK dealer for Rough Country would be good to have.

I see on some of the US models you can get Jeep made half doors which look better than the after market offering but we do not appear to have the option over here. quite fancy some half doors for the summer. Thats if we get a summer of course! You don't know if you can buy them in the US been looking but haven't found any OEM ones.

Just ordered a Bestop trektop from Quadratec in the US and they shipped it over with no problems came quite quickly shipped via UPS. Going to try a few more bits like the half doors so will let you know how that goes if you are interested.

sweet. i would love a softtop but i dont think i would use it that much. do you know if its legal to run with the doors off in the UK? or do you need a bar/strap of some kind. im really tempted to just take them off but dont want to get done.

I think you will get pulled over with the doors off but I don't know if its illegal probably get told to put'em back on. The Half doors that I have got are the Highrock Element doors with the saddle bags see link:

http://www.quadratec.com/products/11146_300_07.htm

Have got them all but haven't had a chance to swop them out yet even though the weather has been reasonably warm.

To busy at work!!!

ok cool i think i might just take them off if its a nice day. im sure even if the cops do pull me over, they wont know what to do. i dont think its somthing they come across it very often
i have soooooo much i want to buy, but its so darn expensive when you add the shipping costs and customs tax
might just have to move over there and get a hemi one

oh,
you see the customs charges, are they charged at 15% of the goods value, or goods + shipping value? or a different percentage?
