Will most likely need a bit of help...
Hey guys and gals,
I'll be back to Germany here in the next few weeks and plan on installing a lift kit and some other goodies. My garage will be to short to fit through if I install it inside and I don't really like to use the hobby shop on base unless I'm with someone who knows what they're doing. Wondering if anyone is interested in lending a helping hand for a fellow jeeper? I'll pay in a case of

Hmmm... I probably should have just looked at your information on the left before asking.
I just moved from Koblenz to Stuttgart, so I am now pretty far away, which might make it a bit of a challenge for me to get out there or for you to come down here. I know that there are a bunch of people out in Spang that have modified JKs that should be able to help. Probably shouldn't be that difficult to track them down.
Out in your neck of the woods there is also a Jeep club in Gavinich (sp?) which is next to Buechel. While they are all German, most of them speak English, and you can probably work something out with them.
I also have a buddy out in Koblenz with a Garage who may be able to help out, though I don't want to speak for him, but it would cost some Euros to use his Garage or have him install it (it is his job after all).
PM me if you want me to try and get you in touch with any of them.

hey, thanks for the info. I'll most likely scout around the local area and see if anyone is available. That club sounds like a lot of fun. If I have to, I'll just use the shop on base. I'm planning on running 35" Duratracs

Sounds cool. If I remember correctly, there is a guy over at the PAX terminal on Spang with a lifted JK.
The Jeep club is in Gevenich. Correct spelling this time. Just google Gevenich and Jeep - they have a meeting this July by the way.

I doubt I will be able to make it to the meeting there.
Yes, I think the PAX guy has a yellow JK. Not sure about the snorkel, but I know it is lifted a bit and I think on 33s, maybe 35s. I know they were smaller than mine, i.e. not 37s.
