Home Screen not showing logged in?

For the last several months, when I arrive at the home page, it shows I am not logged in and no messages show. However, when I navigate directly to the forums page, I am magically logged in and I receive messages.

Is that a problem?

Ted,

I think that is a default on the program. It does it to me. I just save the forum thread page as my link.

Most I've ever gotten was a red bubble with a number in it showing I've had notifications. That is a rarity, though.
