I hear ya, I'm often worried that non-profound comments from newbies like me will be considered "post padding".

The same way with me. I need to start doing some posting. I have a brand new stealth pod that i wanted to sell and couldn't because i didn't have 50 posts. I think its a good thing to have that requirement. I remember being on the dodge truck forums and they had alot of scammers on there just posting crap and junk.
