I didn't join JK-Forum to read political threads. I wonder what people would think if there was a forum on here dedicated to only politics. That forum could be subscribable so that if you choose not to join that forum, those post don't show up in "today's posts". Just an idea to try to clean up the post listing and make it a little more Jeep related.

We've done a lot to keep the random stuff to a minimum, but I'm not sure if that's possible. I've forwarded it to wayoflife and we'll talk about it.

I'm not a fan of having 5001 forums, but it worked pretty well on a local board I admin...but on the other hand.... wah wah, just don't click the thread

Whether we like it or not politics comes into play with almost anything. As long as people have opinions there will always be bickering. It beats talking to robots if you ask me.

I must have misunderstood the purpose of this forum. I belonged to a Harley forum and the political & religion talk just ruined it. It got so out of hand and the attitudes of the people became so nasty to each other. So much so that many of us left, created our own forum with strict rules about no politics and no religion. I'd hate to see the same thing happen here.
