Why couldn't you be grandfathered in? If you done it before and want to do it again, why not? I love this site. This is where I go for all my questions. Now I have to reach 50 posts.

I think it's a software limitation that does not allow "grandfathering" certain members into rule exemptions. I'm not entirely certain, but I know this was the case when we changed Anything & Everything to no longer count towards your post total. I also know that there were a few members with low posts counts that had already posted "For Sale" threads that turned out to be part of the problem. Had the rule not been applied retroactively, those people would still be abusing the For Sale section and making the moderator's jobs harder.

I know it seems a bit inconvenient, but just keep asking questions and helping others out where you can and you'll be at 50 posts in no time!

But it wont let me post anything in the forsale section and I dont know why. It says something about administrative, but I can post other places just not there... any ideas?

How many post do you have to have to be able to post something for sale, also can any one tell me where rules like that are listed?
