Where's the color?

I just tried logging in on another computer with IE7 and as expected it switched from the default colors to Stone White. Later today I can try logging in on another computer with IE8 and see if it works there…
For IE7 it worked without me checking the box.
Happening to me on my computer as well. I've changed my forum actions settings to stone white and it won't give me white. Just black. I'm using most recent version of IE8.

I'm running Windows 7 and IE8 version 8.0.7600.16385 and it works fine with this configuration. If you can get me this info, I will try to look into it further. Maybe it has something to do with the specific version

I'm on XP at office with IE8 build 8.0.6001.18702
I'm on Windows 7 at home Not sure which build but no updates to run as of 2 days ago, so i'm figuring the most recent.
same issue on each computer, yes, checking the box you showed in previous post.

...I love the stone white screen because it so conveniently blends in with my work MS Outlook!
2 more things:
1. correction on previous post--I may not have tried it on the Windows 7 machine at home last night--may have been via a remote connection to my work xp machine.
2. right now, I'm logged in via IE8 (same build as the IE8 on the xp machine) on a windows server 2003 machine and it worked. White color automatically shows up. but if i log out here and log in on the xp machine--no go--it just goes back to the default.
