If anyone is interested... The wife, kids, and I will be out there the last week of Jun / first week of July... Haven't nailed down the date exactly yet. But we are very open on the exact dates. We would love a few more Rigs with us...
Black Bear pass plus a few others is on the list of to do-s...
PM me if anyone wants to meet up.

I would, been wanting to. Buying a house this weekend and flying out to SoCal for the week.

I might just go by myself and see if I can tag along with another group. Congrats on the house purchase!

We've done Ophir and Imogene a few times, but never Black Bear. I've heard the switchbacks are pretty tough for a 4 door. How does Black Bear compare to Ophir and Imogene (for those that have done them all)?

Done it in a 4 door, you just can't make some of the switchbacks in a single maneuver.

thanks! Be safe on that run. There are locals who won't even attempt it.

Here is the part that you need to watch, and see if it's for you.

Thanks for the great video Roysrig. Some parts of that trail are awfully narrow. I was up there about ten years ago in my old TJ and we got to the top and I chickened out and turned around. This year we are going up in my JK that is much more built up so we plan on doing it this time.
