I'm planning to hit Box Canyon this Sunday for anyone interested. I'll be out there about 10:30, so we should be done and back by kick-off.

Let me know if you want to join me, I've never done this trail and am a bit nervous about it as I'm waiting for my rock rails & BB, so I will not have them yet to help me out of a tough situation.

Also, should I remove my side steps for this or will the little extra protection be good to have considering I'm replacing them soon anyway.

Hey Scouter, you should be ok with the side steps, just choose the right lines and you should be good. It's always better to have another JK tag along and safer.
I'm tentatively going on the Montana Mountain trip with the AZFJ club on Saturday, but I may have to head out to California on Friday.
If plans change I'll see if I can join you on Sunday! I'll keep you posted.

 

scouter i honestly couldn tell you if the unlimited have a problem. 2 doors not a problem at all. keep you steps on. they take quite an abuse and dont fail. like me on a large rock. oooppps!

 

thanks for the info. I'd rather they take the abuse than the side of the jeep and considering they will be gone soon anyway, I don't care how beat up they get.

 

I have to work Sunday. Any chance for Saturday? I plan on taking the kids out 4 wheeling for the day.
