Finally touched in Colorado Springs late last night thank gawd. Packing up soon and making the rest of our journey to Durango with a few stops along the way.

Looking forward to running Black Bear on Tuesday and either all or part of the Alpine Loop on Thursday. I think the later will be how crabby white baby handles things on Tuesday.

So far it's looking like 4 rigs will be running Black Bear on Tuesday and none so far for the other trails.


As far as Moab goes it's looks like Poison Spider Mesa is a firm run and just have to figure out what else we're going to want to run while we're there.

 

I would be down with the alpine loop on Thursday

 

We'll chat more about it on Tuesday but I think we may be leaning towards only running Animas Forks, California Gulch, Hurricane Pass and Corkscrew Gulch which will loop us out and then back to the highway. To run the full loop it looks like it'd be a looooooong day and I don't think # 2 will be happy being cooped up in her car seat for another 8-10 hrs.
