I live in Colorado Springs as well.

For Breakfast you MUST go to King Chef, the bacon is a work of art. The portions are huge so the 1/4 or 1/2 orders are common.
Shuga's on Cascade has good food, the Cuban sandwich is amazing!
The Edelweiss is an institution in Colorado Springs and has good German food.
AI has good Sushi.
If you like Italian try Dat's Italian in Old Colorado City. For lunch try Molica's Deli, great Lemon-cello cake and sandwiches.
Hacienda has good Colorado style Mexican food.

I have heard good things about Brother Lucks, but have not confirmed yet. The person likes many of the same restaurants as me.

Bingo, great German food! Get the beer flight. Your also very close to gold camp road right behind the broadmore hotel if you have an hour to trail ride or even hit the scenic trail that starts next to leaning rock in the garden of the gods. Miss fort Carson......
