Whats up all, new to jeeps and saw this thread - cool there are so many front range guys on here.
Just picked up my JKUR about 6 weeks ago so until spring it will be pretty much stock, although I put on EVO sliders, JCR skids, JCR front bumper on the way....suspension and tires will be next season.
I definitely want to tag along on some runs - I'm new to jeeps but not wheeling, I traded in my built up 08 Xterra for my rubi. I've only lived in CO about 9 months but have gone wheeling once or twice a week - now I will be looking to do some more challenging trails....so far its only been 4-5s on traildamage, by myself a lot with not much of a challenge.
I'm going to moab for a week in a couple days but hopefully can make it out when i get back!

I did Middle St Vrain then Coney Flats on Monday. Good trail, from your video it looked like you didn't show the best part of the trail, the connecting road to the lake from MSV. Too bad I couldn't go with you guys on Sunday.

Hey guys,
We are heading out west next weekend for a 3 day weekend. We are staying in Glenwood Springs, doing a horseback trip on Friday, but on Saturday the lady wants to get out and see the trees. I was in Breck last weekend and they were starting to change in town, so I expect they will be bright and yellow by the 15th!
Anyone know of any trails around the GWS/Basalt/Snowmass/Aspen area where we could get off the road to see the trees? I hate taking those narrow highways in tree viewing season because they always seem to get jammed up and people braking un expectedly, etc.
We will be in a modified and lifted JK, so something rough and technical doesnt matter.
Any ideas?
