Marble to Crystal City (Colorado)
Has anyone run the trail from Marble to Crystal this year? A friend told me last year part of it was shut down for construction, but I haven't been able to figure out where she was to know if that would impact me. I don't want to run the Devil's Punchbowl or the rough parts of Schofield Pass, but it looks like I could go that way and cut over to Lead King Basin. Thoughts?
ive run it a few times now. All is open and clear. going up there this weekend to do lead king again. I would suggest doing the entire lead king loop. very nice ride with steller views. im lucky to live in the area so i am there alot!
For anyone who's interested, the Lead King Basin trail to the Crystal trail back to Marble is a great run. A few narrow spots where oncoming traffic would suck, but definitely a trail worth repeating. There is a decent creek crossing maybe axle deep, so beware heavy rains.
