Default Shop for Gears in Yuma, AZ

Does anybody know of a shop in Yuma that can be trusted to do a gear swap on my JK? The only shop to work on my Jeep other than me so far is Offroad Evolution out in CA. Thanks for any help.

There is a mechanic friend of mine from YPG that I believe does gear work on the side in his own shop? I'll talk to him and see what I can find out if you are still needing someone to do the work?

Bill's Truck and Tractor Repair in town does Jeep work too, I had forgotten about them till I was talking to Bill's Brother Steve that I work with. Let me know how the shop works out for ya.

I've had work done at Ultimate Offroad and Just Jeeps. DO NOT go to Ultimate Offroad... that is unless you enjoy being stepped on and treated like devil's poop. For God's sake DO NOT waste your time and money at this over-priced, pompous, and wretched shop. Their store looks nice and clean. They have a nice garage. But their customer service is worse than dealing with airlines. I don't care if my wheels randomly fall off and Ultimate Offroad is the only shop in the state that can fix my problem... I'll tow it to friggin' CANADA before I give those shitheads any more of my hard earned money.

Just Jeeps is pretty gtg... if you can get him to remember to schedule you in. he fixed my issue I was having with my Jeep, but it did take about a month too long because he "kept forgetting" to schedule me in. Good guy, does good work for an okay price, but TOTALLY scatter brained.

I guess living in the middle of the friggin' desert prevents us from having decent Jeep shops.

Just Jeeps is where my baby is sitting right now waiting on the right part to be sent, should be done by tomorrow. Met Mike on a trail run around town and so far so good. Glad I didnt go to Ultimate offroad or Elite. Just saw you Moab_Rox yesterday driving down 24th. Next weekend I'll be at Tierra Del Sol but we should work on a little Yuma Meet and Greet or a trail ride. Any of you guys down? Or down for TDS with a bunch of people off of the forum?

DAMN! I bet i didn't wave either!! 24th was crowded and with a slight death wobble issue I have been having I keep two hands on the wheel on that street, lol! A meet-n-greet would be great! There is a group on facebook that I joined so I get constant invites out for rides, it just sucks that I usually get caught at work or some other chore around the house that needs to get completed rather than being able to ride.

Here is the facebook group link... https://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Yu...61382307238654

Unfortuantely I won't make TDS as i already have plans for the weekend but it sounds like an incredible time!!!

I keep in touch on Yuma Trails for rides but the meet and greet would be a great deal I think. Mike at Just Jeeps also does crazier more technical runs on Sundays.

I'd love to meet up with some Jeepers... my rig hasen't been off road since September... and that was barely anything. Still no technical rock crawling done in my Jeep yet.

Problem I have is I am always working weekends. And now that it's starting to get hot, not many folks will want to hit the trails. I'd love to hit a trail or two sometime soon. But it would have to be a workday evening...
