Gentlemen,

I will be attempting to not destroy my beloved jeep late sunday afternoon at Carnage canyon in boulder. All are welcome. I've always wanted to conquer this trail and have decided to just pony up and go for it. I promise to take all of the hard lines and so forth......

So I'll be there, nervously pacing, around 4pm this Sunday.

if i had tires i would love to go with. The pictues of the Xj on there hint that with a little help and a spotter you should be fine.

 

I think I may join you on this one. I have been there a few times on my ATV and looked at it online last night.

well the backpacking trip got cut short so I can do this run earlier on Sunday....

I'm planning on an 11am arrival at the trailhead.

it was a blast. a squared got some pics that I hope he can get up soon. too bad you couldnt make it.

 

It was pretty awesome. Very difficult trail in that it was hard to keep track of all of the rocks after they go under your hood. Our jk's did fantastic, but more armor would have eased my anxieties on this one. There were a few extreme obstacles that I would have done if I had some more steel on the jeep. Other than the horrible sound of granite on the thin factory skid plates, and having to wait while a couple of maniacs in the group ahead of us got high centered over and over again.... It was a complete success.

I wanna do this trail again! But only after I armor up, get a winch, and it hasn't been raining for 72 hrs straight.
