I'm still in for a mid March, weekend meet & greet! No worries on the trail experience level, you'll discover your Jeep's capabilities and your own comfort level soon enough.

There is no Wal-Mart in Moab. Why would we go there?

Howdy guys. Another western sloper here in Clifton. If you guys want to do a scenic run that will keep you fairly close to town there is always the Bangs canyon area on the Monument. It's a cool area, that is easily done in a stock JK (mine is, I scrape a few places but nothing bad). Some of the more built up rigs and buggies in the area frequent the area as well.

I'd be up for a meet n greet sometime. Heck i'll even throw in for the 2nd round. We should arrange a near-by trail run sometime soon, before it gets hot out this way. Any ideas?

New here and from Fruita. Also President of the Grand Mesa Jeep Club.
The Jeep Club is 50 years old this year, and very active. Everything from flat fenders to tube frame rock buggies. Not just Jeeps any more, but anything with a transfercase. We do at least a run a month, but during the summer there are several every month.
The club has several JKs in it now and interest from many more. We are very active with land use issues, and charity events, like Crawl to a Cure. June is our Rock Junction event, and Offroad Show. Which is 3 days of wheeling, followed by a full day of vendors, and a huge swap meet , and rig show at the Fairgrounds. We meet once a month, check us out on Facebook, or at GMJC.org.
