Default Hi

Hello everyone,

Is this thread still active? I'm up in the Seattle area right now but I'll be moving to Montrose at the end of March, 2013. I know a couple of people in the local Montrose jeep club but wanted to see if there was a group of people on here that went wheeling too.

I just found this thread today! Possibly from your post. I live in Rifle and wheel when work permits. I think i saw a comment from you on another thread. a guy was moving to texas from denver and you told him to not go?

Hopefully this thread gets started back up. Its almost time to do some snow wheeling! come on folks!

Hi finfreeze,

Yeah, that was me telling someone not to move to TX from Denver. My wife is from Montrose so I've been on a few of the trails down near Ouray but most of my wheeling was closer to Denver and Co Springs.

I can't wait to get back to CO. Washington has a lot of forest but very little 4x4 activity other than a few offroad parks and some good forest roads. I'm ready for all of the outdoor activities that I miss. I've done a lot here but I'm tired of the rain.

Yeah, i think i would rather live here than Texas or Washington. I like rain but not everyday.

Are you going to be moved down here in time to hit Easter Jeep Safari? If you have never been, i highly recommend it!

Looks like I'll probably just miss it this year. I won't get to CO until the end of March. Oh well, Montrose is only 3 hours from Moab so i'll definitely be heading over there often. I'm already planning for EJS next year though.

Bummer! At least you will be close to moab full time and be the envy of others who live way to far away to make a day trip. I enjoy living so close.

We got freaking dumped on yesterday! I work at about 7k feet and there is deep snow everywhere.
