People jest about doomsday Preppers and the crazy things they do. Well, if you live in Oklahoma your doomsday prep is, as we learned, for big ass scary tornadoes.

You have to survive the initial incident. Storm shelters, basements, and safe rooms. FEMA is a government agency we love and trust! Here is a link on safe rooms that will help with planning. http://www.fema.gov/safe-rooms. As we have learned, F5s are not to be trifled with. Winds in excess of 200 and more energy than large nukes.

Survive the incident. Self rescue then help your neighbor. Watch the videos and you will see, first responders are not men with badges, but neighbors who survived.

So survive. Survive, then Live.

A massive coronal ejection missed earth by two weeks. NASA official said the wave was significant and could have had significant impact on electrical grid systems world wide. Per the Feds, there are approximately 250 keys transformers. We have 20-30 backups. Each takes months to manufacture and those manufacturers are in Europe.
Per the Feds, a significant coronal mass ejection or EMP could destroy the national grid with months if not years for it to be repaired.

No opinion in above, all fact. Search the interweb.

What? No grid? No internet? No Facebook? No twitter, blogs, yada yada yada? Amen. Probably the best thing that can happen to wake up this idiocracy in the good ole USA, LOL!
