Default FS M101A2 Military Camo trailer with extras to restore

I have decided to try to sell my M101A2 military trailer. I bought this at the beginning of the summer with the hopes of finding the time to modernize it while keeping it looking original as well. Unfortunately work and family have prevented me from giving it the time I would like. Let me first say that this trailer is in great shape. As many know, sometimes you find one of these trailers that need a lot of work. This one does not. I could have left it exactly as it was and it would have lasted as long as I wanted it to. The A2, unlike the A1, comes with the surge brake. When I bought the trailer the surge brake was working just fine but I chose to tear it down, sandblast it, and powdercoat it piece by piece to make it less susceptible to the midwest humidity. I then ordered all new components for it including a new shock and nylon bushings. As you can see it the photo, each piece is completely sealed in powder coat and put back together with almost all new parts. The brake functions as designed but I did not yet put in new brake fluid. The front 'A' frame holding the surge brake and pintle hitch was also powdercoated. I removed the data plates and have some new replacements ones with a box of stainless rivets to be reinstalled. Everything from the bed forwards was powdercoated and will last longer than you need it to. I also extended the safety chains to accomidate non military vehicles. The chains still include the military hooks.

Now for the bed. The bed does not have any rust holes. It is a sold bed painted in a camo pattern and has only a few areas that need to be painted to cover exposed metal. There are a few small dented areas but nothing major that draws away from the trailer... After all it is a functional trailer. Even though it is all functioning properly and doesnt really need it, I have 1 gallon of Chassis Saver that I planned to spray the bed with to help it get a fresh new seal over the metal. I also have 1 gallon of 383 CARC green paint from Gillespie that would coat the bed after the Chassis Saver is applied. I then have rattle cans that would re-create the camo pattern when all is said and done. The bed can be coated with the included tintable bed liner. I ordered a complete kit with sprayer to apply a 383 tinted bed liner to match the exterior. That completes the paint. I have also ordered trucklite marker lights with guards for the front and back on the sides of the trailer. 2 amber and 2 red. These have not been wired up yet but will be included. I am also throwing in the license plate frame and light to make this thing 2012 DOT compliant. Remember that it is already DOT compliant, but this would add the features now required by new model trailers. I do have 2 metal 'L' brackets that I am throwing in as well. I bought them to help strengthen the bed but came to find that it is more solid than I thought. I ordered vinyl decals that can be applied to help keep the original numbers on the trailer if you do decide to paint it. It also includes the tire psi decals and star logos.

The trailer still has the military wiring and plug. I have purchased and will include a 7 flat male and female plug. The vehicle side plug also includes a 4 pin plug to make it easy to transition to other trailers as well. I am including a powder coated lock to place in the pintle adapter to prevent anyone from stealing the trailer.

I did get this thing registered with the State of Illinois and have plates for it and a title. It was titled under its Vehicle Identification Number.

I am sure I am forgetting other things but this is what I can remember right now. Please feel free to ask any questions. I am in no rush to sell this and I am only looking to get back about what I have put into this. I have close to $2000 invested in it not including my time. It has everything to make this thing look new again. I am asking $1500.

Here is a list of some of the included parts and prices they cost. You will not have to do searching. It will all be included and ready for you to put it to use, or finish my plan.

Here are a few photos. I am selling this to buy a front 44... So if you have one and your interested in a trade that would work too. I just pulled this to Ho pick up 37s and it pulls extremely well... Water beads up nicely on the new powder coating. Feel free to ask questions.

Here are a couple photos of the front before sandblasting and powder coating. Looks 100 times better now and will last forever.

First buyer just fell thought. I'm willing to pull it ~200 miles in any direction and meet you. Id rather it finds a home with another Jeeper instead of just anyone.

Bump. If you're not interested in the extras, then make me an offer on the trailer and any parts you are interested in.

Still for sale. I tossed it on fleBay at $1600 but I'd be willing to do better here for another Jeeper. Make me a reasonable offer.
