Update for Fall Run 2012
Thursday Oct 18th Rockwoods- Elk River Meet and Greet 8:30 PM If anyone interested
Friday AM leave for Bemidji with lunch in Brainerd Mn
Friday evening check in at Kohl's Campground Bemidji Mn
Saturday AM - Jeep meet at 9:00 AM and take off by 9:30AM for all day back country roads and minimum maintenance roads. ( Possible Mud and dog brush in areas)
Saturday evening bonfire and refreshments
Sunday departure

So shooting fir a possible Head Count for the Thursday night meet and greet and also for the run itself. If there's a few people actually making the run we could possibly split a large cabin between a few people

I plan on making it to the meet and greet. Won't be going on the run with you guys, but should be able to make it to the meet and greet as long as I remember.

Just a public service announcement, it is Bird Hunting season and that means that if you are out in the woods you need to have blaze orange on. While you might not look like a grouse, people aren't that picky about what they shoot so be prepared.

Yeah I used to know what grouse hunting was when I lived in Bemidji. Offroad all day having refreshments with loaded guns and mudding. Used to get stuck in the middle of nowhere and had to wait until friend would show up to pull me out. Built campfire to keep warm and cooked the grouse on a stick. Yeah I remember grouse hunting !!!
