8TH Annual Blessing of the Jeeps
Check May 2, 2009 on your calendar for the "Blessing of the Jeeps " in Mesick MI
Over 700 Jeeps last year and looks to be even bigger this year. Lot's
of fun stuff like trail rides, RTI ramp, drivers course, etc. Check out
Cadillac Jeepers for more info as the event get closer.
Looks like a group of JK'S are planning to meet at the Frosty Cup around 8-8:30 on Saturday and caravan to the blessing together. Let's make CB channel 23 the JK channel
I'll be coming from the north in my CJ so I'm out.
The Frosty Cup is on M-115. It sits right across from where Sunnyside Dr T's into M-115 on the map. For those who know the causeway that runs through Cadillac West, the Frosy Cup sits on the southern end of it, on the west side, right across from Lake Cadillac .http://www.mapquest.com/maps?city=Ca...&zipcode=49601
I see that the blessing entrance has moved to Industrial Drive. Not through the gas
station like before. Industrial Drive hooks M115 to W 16RD. Should be on
the right just after you pass the BP station if your coming from the Cadillac direction

It's all day Saturday, I think the entry fee might include some kind of deal for entry into Twisted Trails Offroad Park in Copemish on the following Sunday.
Not 100% sure on this. Have to keep checking as the event gets closer.

Wanted to see who is planning to head up and when now that the Blessing is gettin closer. If you are going, are you just driving up that morning?
I plan to head up the morning of and have at least one of my kids with me.

I am heading up the Friday before... We will stay up there the full weekend. I will have my family with me. I know we want to participate in the parade event, probably the Sandy Corners rides, and the kids events. If you youtube the event you will see some video's of past events. Looks like mud, trails, and show and tell events.
Hope to see you guys there... As it gets closer maybe we should make arrangements to meet up and head to the event?
