Fall Colors Run
It would be my first time up there but from what I've heard and read there are trails for all types of rigs. They held a Jeep Jamboree there this summer so I'm sure stockers could keep up. The actual park on the island is called Turtle Ridge. I'd post a link but I'm not sure about the non sponsor link rules.
Why not do both? Have a weekend on some of the forest trails in the Manistee national forest, and go to Drummond another weekend since it is quite a bit further for most. October is an awesome month for wheeling anywhere in MI

No Problem. One of the things I was looking at was the lodging. If you were to stay in a cabin it is 1/2 the price in Baldwin than it is in Drummond. I agree with Muffins we can do both. At different dates. I would rather go harder wheeling without my spousal unit, she really enjoyed the trip to Baldwin as did the other wives that attended. Let me see what I can work out as far as deals for us. Last year the Camp site in Baldwin gave us 10% off. Let me see what I can work out this year.

Don't know where you ran last year, but check out this link. It's an area about 40 minutes north of Baldwin along the Manistee river. Great view when you are above the far bank.
