In my line of work, we have a saying." Its better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it!"

Having said that, I've seen stock Commanders do the jeep Jamboree on Drummond... S

o I hope my JKU Sport doesn't get let down by ME! but if it does, I got dis!

Besides, if bring home my daily driver all jacked up... My wife.will have my ass. I personally need my ass. I have to sit on it from time to time!

I've always loved Jeeps, but I'd never owned a wrangler before my current JK. I had no clue of what they could handle. At Drummond last fall, When I compared my JK to the other guy's more modded ones, I got really nervous. But once out on the trails, I couldn't get over how capable my Jeep was! My brother, who came with me, is now a firm believer in Jeep capabilities as well. He wants to buy one, but his wife isn't having any of that :-p

Well I hope I'll have some leftover money for gas to get to Drummond. My rear drive shaft kicked the bucket. So, I just ordered a DS from Dave and had to get CA's to dial in the pinion angle. Then I invited my bro who has to bring his gf and had to order a roof rack. I'm 1200 down just getting ready for Drummond. Just might end up selling my 1st born to fund the trip.

There are 2 lines you can take at marble head. One I wouldn't do stock as a JKU with 35's and a 2.5 lift will rub some. There is a line that stock will be fine. If you watch the vid I posted a week ago or so, the JKU with the trektop is taking the harder of the lines. After that clip there is another that I sped up the footage ( he was taking baby steps lol) that is taking the easy line. The hard side is steps about knee height. The easy side is more like curb height.

I feel your pain. I have been throwing stuff on Craigslist so I can afford to get gas and maybe to under protection or rock rails

So far for this trip I've picked up rock rails, EVAP skid plate and am really torn on ordering a snorkel or not. Very tough decisions.

Oh and finally cut the front bumper down so it stops getting in my way

Naturally my wife is being pulled to work this week in Canada so now I will not be able to attend. Not too thrilled about that. I'm still in for a t-shirt if that's cool. Hopefully I will get to one of these event sometime soon.

PM with color choice, size, personalization, and sleeve style (short or long) and I will send it to you

BTW, thanks everyone for the quick replies today, I almost have the t-shirt order complete for those who want them. Still need feedback from:

muddenjeep
Curtise
AgtSunshine
stillmotion (you!!!!)
Warpedguy77
jk.bushwacker

If you havent ordered and would like to, I am keeping the "order banks" open till noon on thursday. Also, I will be getting a few extra (haven't decide how many yet), so I will have them at the trip (all of this pending WOL approval or Dynomax sponsorship, they were both at the JK Experience this past week and got home late last night...probably won't hear till tomorrow)

Poll will be up later tonight!!

Yeah, I've been eyeing an OME lift and a gobi rack. If I get that, I'll have one good looking jeep... In the drive way...
