Looking for a shop in Chicagoland to lft my Sahara
Did a search on the forum, couldn't really find anything. Anyway, I'm looking to lift my Jeep somewhat mildly (3").............any known shops that do that type of stuff?
I used to go to Godmudders. They were great but they moved out of the area.

There are a couple decent shops up in the burbs.. but they all charge an arm and a leg.. even if someone tells you that youre getting a good deal. I would suggest finding some of the guys on the forum here to help you put it on. If you cant find any there.. Dirtman on here helps out a ton of people.. including myself. He has a big shop of his own and works real cheap.. usually a case of beer that we drink while working on the jeeps. he is leaving tomorrow for coal creek with some other jeepers and will be back next week sometime.. but he checks the forum on his phone. I am over at his place all the time with a few other guys.. he just lives on the other sire od town. we live in champaign. not to mention.. we are always looking for another guy to go offroading with us.
you will probably hear this a lot on here...the members here are great and would probably help put it on for you for the price of some beer! It is not that hard, and shouldn't take more than a few hours. Find your staging area (great lakes) in that section and write a post asking for help. Chances are you will get more than one member willing to help. You will learn a lot and then have a better idea how to diagnose squeeks/issues when they come up. Great sense of accomplishment too!
i also would suggest putting your own lift on so when something goes wrong.. and something always does.. you were start to learn to diagnose it yourself. increasing your knowledge about your jeep is only going to life easier on your wallet.
