Yeah March/April is pretty iffy for camping up here. While I have a camper and wouldn't mind it, if you are tenting it can get quite chilly. There are a couple of nice campgrounds that are very close to the wheeling areas in MN, in fact one of them has a trail that conects right to the park for any non-road worthy rigs. And both are very receptive to the off-roading community, because that is a majority of their business in the summer.

I would love to plan a large gathering of JKers up here. There are a lot of people that are working at making northern Minnesota a wheeling destination, and I would like to expose more people to what we have up here. And there is a lot to see and do besides wheeling.

I would love to head somewhere else and go wheeling to. I would welcome a weekend get away in March or April.

oh come on i have 74,000 miles on my jeep in a year... the road trip is half the fun... but next time i think i might rent a flat bed truck and trailer the jeep out there... which would be interesting in the mountain passes
