MESABI MOUNTAIN TRAIL - Spring Run

Chip80 heads out every year, too.
I'm driving out. It will be our 'bucket list' vacation of a lifetime. Since my wife is into it, I'm going to capitalize on it. She's got a new camera and she's going to be my own personal film crew.
Another fella is coming out with me and he's towing his rig out. I'll probably start a thread in the Great Lakes section about this soon. I'll be contacting the local Moab club that hosts it soon as well.
But, I'm still very interested in going to the Duluth site (Rubicon 2) but likely once it warms up. June or something.
More news later.

I would love to plan a large gathering of JKers up here. There are a lot of people that are working at making northern Minnesota a wheeling destination, and I would like to expose more people to what we have up here. And there is a lot to see and do besides wheeling.
I would love to head somewhere else and go wheeling to. I would welcome a weekend get away in March or April.
Anyone have wisdom on the following places? Just keep in mind I would like to stay away from offroad parks and more ORV Trail systems:
1) Tellico
2) Turkey Bay OHV/Land Between the Lakes
3) Beasley Knob OHV Trail System
4) Coal Creek OHV Area / Windrock
5) Ozark-St. Francis National Forests

Just let us know.
oh come on i have 74,000 miles on my jeep in a year...
the road trip is half the fun... but next time i think i might rent a flat bed truck and trailer the jeep out there... which would be interesting in the mountain passes
