Minnesota's ramble on and on thread.
also i think your right next to appleton (mn) offroad park too. might be about 30 or 40 mins away...other then that welcome to the minnesota page and yes of course we will have a meet and greet this summer for sure...infact we have one coming up on the 28th..
your more then welcome to come join..
we're all used to it, but we've been pretty spoiled so far this winter weather-wise. about a week and a half ago it was 50 degrees! usually we have feet of snow on the ground by now and presently we've only had inches. quite the swing from the last couple of winters in the snow dept.

Other than that it's fun and lots of options to do.
Compared to AZ nah you won't be impressed. I lived in Mesa for awhile and once a person gets spoiled I rather travel a distance to have what you got in AZ.
Hello, my family and I are planning on moving to the Shakopee area in the near future. It ultimately depends on jobs though. We have quite a large Jk family in Arizona and just wanted to put some feelers out in Minnesota. I am hoping there are many places to wheel as the jeep is pretty well set up.

I lived in Phoenix for 3 years back in the late '80's. The winter's here are damn cold, but the summers are awesome (no 110+ heat).
We have nowhere near as many places to wheel as the southwest, but the terrain isn't 100% brown sand either heh.
It is, what I would classify as, F'N COLD this morning!

The Jeep whined a little about it as did I.

Any of our MN folks going to the easter Jeep Safari in Moab this year?

I guess there's some great lakes folks going. Anybody here been there? I'm thinking of going.

Welcome to my world. Nice to know I am not the only one.
I was born and raised in Southern Mass, then moved to Tempe to attend Arizona State. Go Sundevils

Then I moved to North Scottsdale and worked for Discount Tire Corporate for a few years. That is where I my jeep obsession began.
The trails out here are nothing like AZ but its always fun to see what your jeep can do in different types of terrain.
There definitely aren't as many trailer queens out here either. The salt sure does a number on them.
One benefit about MN is that Burnsville Offroad is only minutes away from Shakopee if you want to do a hemi swap.
