i can help you install the egr valve...i did mines and it took about 1 hours...i did it with just jack stands and a case of beer..with tools of course..just make sure to get a gasket (a new one)...
yeah my egr crap out on me the 3rd month i got it..but after the autozone part..it fixed the issue and my jeep runs a lot better too!

just have to remove the fender liner and the hard part is connecting the top tube to the egr..just MAKE SURE that the jeeps been sitting and has been cooled off for about 2 or 3 hours..its gets freaken hot in there..
that was when the case of beer was in use..

I will hopefully be ordering the parts for the XJ tonight, and hopefully installing them on Sunday. I'll join the wrenching party if it's not too far of a drive from Ramsey, so I can help out and meet everyone. Though like I said, I work until 6 on Saturdays, so it'd be after that, or I'm free on Sundays. Though if we decided to do a midweek wrenching party I have Wednesdays off as well.

Yea, I found that out immediately while playing on some of the trails on Fins and Things in Moab. Didn't get too far before I heard some light grinding which freaked me out a little since I don't have an oil pan skid. Other than a new front bumper the skid plates are top on my list.

Not sure when I'll get a check from insurance (if I do), but once I get my bumper I'll be up for a wrenching party especially if a beer or two can be had.

toxicity_27, we are close. Might have to convince everyone to grab a beer around the area some time soon.
