Dug out my two-way radios...channel 4 tomorrow? I hop these things work I had a better more powerful radio but I remembered last time I tried to use it died on me and I couldn't fix it. It stormed last night pretty good for a while but any rain we got over here in Fremont was soaked right up.

Same here regarding the rain-it was so dry, and its been sunny and hot all day here, so my lawn is like needles again-I kick myself whever I bitch about rain or no rain, etc...-its easy to forget it'll be snowing again in 4 mos.

I hate me a skeeter I need to double check my rear spring spacers and make sure the springs are still in place. Is anyone going no doors tomorrow? I have honestly never had the doors off my Jeep but really want to. Only thing holding me back is I haven't looked around enough for a mirror setup. I don't want any legal trouble for something that small but i have seen some other jeeps around that haven't had mirrors so maybe its not a big deal. Only other thing about going no doors is I will be real panzy when it comes to mud...I can deal with it on the outside but inside

Yes, I'm almost 100% sure the Mosquito's will out number us, they have been unbelievable this year. Then those darn "horse flies" (or what ever they are called) are around also.

Anybody have a tow strap just in case? That's on my list, but don't have one yet.

May be going solo this run, wife is feeling a little under the weather this weekend. Been a rough 18 months for her, sometimes she will ride with me other times not. Believe it or not she was behind me buying a Jeep after going 20+ years without one. Before we had kids, that was all I owned. Now the kids are gone and she told me to go out a buy one.

I have a tow strap in the "box" that I keep in back for related items I'm acquiring. I think its even still in the plastic, but its only 3" or 4" wide. I forget the rating...it was gift.

TekWarren: Has of right now it looks like doors and top on. Unless my daughter's boyfriend comes over tonight and helps me remove the top. Doors will stay on to keep the mud out.

It is illegal to drive without the driver's side mirror. I've seen a few without mirrors, but it's a gamble.

Should work for pulling out a jeep, after all they are very light weight.

Ya like I said I won't risk getting pulled over for something that small. I do need to figure something out as when we go camping up at silver lake in a couple weeks I definitely want to experience some dune time with no doors.

I have the soft top and have the rear window out most of the summer. I was thinking of taking the other side plastic windows out for tomorrow. Still debating on taking the top down...I can put it back up pretty easily if we come to some mud but I'm not sure we even got enough for wooded areas to even hold water. I think I'll come top down and play it by ear. Looks like it will be just under 80 tomorrow which would be pretty comfortable.
