It has been extremely reliable, and accurate. Haven't had any failures, and it seems to like everything from 147 gr. up on ammo. I just ran about 250 rounds of Sellier & Bellot 147 gr. from Bulkammo.com through it last weekend, and it ran like a champ. With a muzzle brake, it feels good. Trigger work is a must on the Sig 716 however.

here is mine.....

But the pic is already outdated. I changed the railcover, sold the magnifier ( using a 1-4x Millet scope for competiton and the Eotech only for fun and courses) , cut of the front sight top have a low profile gas block and added a pair of BUIS.
But no up to date pictures.
I think next year I´ll invest a bit and get a free float samson forearm, a cheap magnifier (again....) and a decent gas block.

How do you like the mako bipod? I have been looking at the mako bipod and the harris bipod's.

As a supporter of our Second Amendment, this thread concerns me.

Here is why.
Who views this thread?
Who can capture the data in this thread?
Are posters in a sense self-registering themselves and their guns?

Ladies and gentlemen, please think before posting.
If the ATF or Eric Holders Justice Dept collects this data (and why wouldn't they jump on a treasure trove like this) they know what you've got and where to come and get you.

I'm not paranoid, just realistic

I have both, and it really comes down to need and function. The Mako is very versatile for both on the move, and when you want to utilize the bipod feature. The Harris is a simply bipod, no forward grip. Depends on what suits you for your application.

I'm not worried about it... been posting on gun forums for years. Never had issues.

Isn't every gun legally purchased in the US already registered?

*edit... apparently most states don't require you to register anything
