No springs needed, but they are only good for slow speed off-road. Coilovers are ideal but out of my price range right now. Adam

Wow, I was going to ask the same question. So what provides the upward pressure to keep the Jeep up without any springs? I am a little confused about how that works. I am just getting really into how suspension systems work, and I have never seen anything like this before.

I'm not entirely positve but i beleive the air shock is full of compressed air, similar to an air spring/ air bag... so its like a huge air bag/spring and a shock put into one giant thing called an air shock

Haven't been able to work on it lately, but I did get in the dash panel. Check it out, it's from The 12 volt guy.

wow this thing is bad a$$. Someone posted it on www.thecj2apage.com. I was suprised with thier reactions. Most of the time they don't like the modified stuff. When I saw you used a orig tub I was really suprised. that tub must have been in good shape, mine was lace. Do you have a fuel neck opening on the passenger and driver? Great job!!!!

Actually the body/floor was trashed. I had to re skin the sides with 16 gauge. I'll have to check out that web site. Heres some updates from today. Built the front bump stops. Oh, the airshocks are Sway Away
