BTW, I also think those gussets you put on the cage are sick. What logo is cut into them and is it CNC cut? Can't wait to see more of your projects go up. What kind of tube bender do you work with, and do you work with a bender calculator program or just years of experience? I think I saw a hand tube bender poking out in one of the pics If thats all you're using... wow

Thanks Snap off, those gussets are from a friend of mine at Old Town Customs. He has them cnc plasma cut. As far as bending, I use a manual Pro Tools 105, thats how I stay in shape . Adam

Adam,

How long did it take for you to get accurate with the Manuel bender?

I also saw a Snap-On 'Muscle Mig' poking out... great welder isn't it? I just went 50/50 with a friend and got a used one for $1,500 locally that never even had a full spool of feed wire thrown through it... sick deal, eh? $750 paid from my end How do you like yours? Do you have the TIG kit for it?

If you don't mind me asking more questions I'm curious as to what tube diameter you're using and what settings (and wire size) you have the welder on.

Greg, to be honest, this was my first big bending project. I used the bender a few times to make some fenders and such. I only had 1 miss bend out of the entire build, not too bad. As far as the Muscle Mig, I've used the shit out of it, but had to break down and buy a 220v Miller. The snap on welder just doesn't burn hot enough. I do have the tig setup, and after using it, I threw that crap in the trash and bought a Miller syncrowave 200!

I love the Muscle Mig... then again I don't do big projects like that

I can understand why in a shop you'd need more, the 120v cries to weld anything over 1/8"... but does well for me!

I do have to say for your first big bend project, wow... awesome job! Wheres the project at now?

Those Muscle Mig Snap On welders suck and the scratch start TIGs are a joke. I sold mine back to the snap on guy and bought a Miller 252, much much better. Nice build!

Ya' had me loving the build, but I just don't feel the fake guns and the other cracker jack items. Little skulls don't really look that tough. I could see a lizard to go with your shop.
