The old CJ... hated to sell it, I built this thing from the ground up, but with kids, I needed a family wheeler, that's why I have the 4 door rubi...

Stats were front and rear dana 60's, 107" Wheelbase, chevy 350 bored .040 over probably pushing around 400 HP, chevy SM465 tranny, dana 300, 39.5x13.50-17 Iroks on H2 wheels. 4 wheel disk brakes, a little of this, and a little of that

Yeah, pretty much, it's not going to be too extreme. Plans for it are a 4.0L stroked out to 4.7L, Front Dana 44, and rear ford 8.8, 4.5" RE Lift, 35-36" meats, although I have 2.5" BDS springs I was going to use in a spring over, but decided against it. Stock wheel base. The original plan was to outboard the front springs to accomodate the Waggy 44, but I have a Chevy 44 that I will have cut down so I won't have to ouboard the springs. The goal is to be able to put this thing back original If I want too, no frame mods or body mods. Hence the 4.7 stroker instead of a V-8 Conversion

This picture is almost 20 years old. It would have been taken in about 1989. This is a 1977 CJ5 I drove for my senior year in high school and first two years of college. It had a 304 V8 and a 3spd. It had 3.54 gears , a 1 piece rear axle conversion, and a LSD. It also had a rebadged Warn 8274. The tires were 33" Powercats cleared by a 2" body lift and a add-a-leafs.

Oh the good old days...................

I just saw the "other jeep forums"

This is my BABY! It is a 1978 CJ-5, AMC 304V8, Model 20 tranny, Model 20 transfer case, amc20 rear, Dana30 front, Detroit/ Detroit, 4:56 ring & pinions, 1 piece heavy duty alloy shafts rear, warn outers front, 2.5" wheel spacers, 4.5" Rubicon Express suspension, shackle reversal, 2" shackles, Warn spare tire carrier/ bumper, Warn 9.5Ti winch, Rubicon hand throttle, Borg Worner heavy duty clutch, 33" boggers! I love this Jeep, I have owned it for what is going on 7 years now(since I was 14).

Some pics, in order from when I first bought it to now:
