I have an 84 Cj7 that i plan on rebuilding sometime when i get a different house with a bit more space. my main question is,

when i paint it i want to get some replacement decals (stripes) but the problem is that my jeep isnt a renegade or a laredo.

i have heard of people getting painters or vinyl makers to come out and take pictures and measurements of the stripse to recreate them.

is this my best bet? anybody know of places to go to get new stripes?

i have looked at collins brothers jeeps in dallas and they really have renegade or laredo decals.

well i have looked at both alot and neither one has the decals that my jeep has on it.. they only ones they have are the "package" decals like renegade and laredo.. i guess i will have to get a painter to replicate mine... shouldnt be too hard with pictures and such..

just need to convince my wife to let me bring it to alabama from my parents house in texas..

 

I was able to get a set off ebay and from JCWhitney. Check those.
