Standard X package, I added tint bestop factory matching windows with the front windows recently tinted @ 20%. I also added a K&N Cold air intake along with a Magnaflow Cat back, recently installed within the past 2 months. It has the dana 44 rear axle with 4:10 gears. Its lifted with a 2.5 BB Teraflex lift. I also added mirror relocators and the tow hitch. Currently sitting on 315/75/16 Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ's with Cragar Soft 8's. I put the lift on with the jeep having right around 3k on it. Its not my daily driver, always kept in the garage. I need to make room for a Harley so its gotta go. I am looking to get $17500 OBO! carmax offered my $20,000 for my 2008 Tundra with only 20k. blue book was $29,800. I ended up selling it back to dealership i bought it from for 25,500 and now they are selling it for 29,500 as a certified pre-owned.

they basically reference the auction wholesale price and then offered slightly less so they can turn a profit. they will not consider any aftermarket parts.
Carmax will buy your car, but it's a joke how much they'll give you. I had my 2001 Expedition in and they offered me $3500 and it had less than 100k miles and the body/interior were perfect. I sold it to a guy who was tired of waiting for their bullsh*t for $6500. The sales guy was pissed because he lost a sale, but I didn't care.
i sold mine for 19k but only because i happened to cross paths with a guy that is in the military and had that much money lying around..
carmax is crap for a modified vehicle. they offered me 17k for my jeep because they would have to sell it "wholesale" meaning they couldnt put on a lot becasue of the lift I had on it.
And, they dont move on the offer at all. i said if he raised the price $500 i would do it and all he did was sit there and look at me.
kind of frustrating
my advice, put it up on autotrader and cars.com... your not ever going to get your money out of it selling to a dealership, the only way you are going to get close to what you want is by selling it yourself. just be patient, someone will come along and buy it for close to what you want to sell it for.
definitely put it up on craigslist and put that is lifted in the title of the ad on craigslist.. i got lots of hits from craigslist.
maybe even think about putting it on ebay.
good luck man
