Default 35's on a TJ

What is the least amount of lift I can put on my TJ for 35's? I plan on putting the bushwacker flat flares on, will this help clerance? could I get buy with a 3.5" or 4" in lift?

i have 35" tires on my jeep and i only have a 4.5 rubicon express kit in my jeep, but you can also do the hi-line fender kit and a 2" lift and you can fit 35" tires no problem.

Heres a pic....

Do you think I could get away with a 4" long arm?

Full traction or Teraflex. I will probably be running the bushwacker flat flares too. Would this help?

Thanks for the replies.

Thumbs up

You should be fine with those lifts, from a budget stand point if you needed more clearance you could always add a 1" body lift. I have a 4.5 BDS lift with a 1" bL but it's really a 4"suspension lift..

I'm running a 4.5" Rubicon Express super flex short arm kit on 33's and still manage to rub the fronts on the factory flares in full stuff........

There is a high fender kit to run 35's with no lift... but I recommend a 6in to get proper tire clearance.
