Hello jeepers I have a 94 yj 5 speed and it's very difficult to shift gears. Clutch pushed in, and at a complete stop you literally have to put full body weight to maybe shift it. It doesn't always do it

 

I had the same issue (years ago) with my YJ. Every once in a while, I had to pump the clutch a few times to get it to shift. Then it would work for a while. I'm wanting to say it was a bad slave cylinder, but don't remember for sure. Sorry I can't be of better help.

 

Yup, sounds like your slave cylinder is going out. Easy and cheap to fix.
