I think I know what you are asking, but I'll bet if you change a few words and post in a '94 Wrangler forum, you'll get more hits.

However, if the problem is it cranks and doesn't start, it was common for the crank position sensor to be a cause.

You are in the JK forum. 2007 to current year Wranglers. Try the TJ forums

I'm sure a place with the words Jeep, forum, and .com could help you with this question... Quite a few YJ owners over there.

Yes this is a "JK" forum but it is still a jeep forum. I'm sure someone will not be so hung up on specific model years and maybe be able to offer some insight especially considering that many current JK owners have owned prior model jeeps.

I'm sure no one here is "hung up on model years", and I'm sure some one has already offered some insight.
It just makes sense to direct the OP to a forum where there are lots more people with the same series Jeep, who have seen the same problem.

Ron and I both own VW's but if you've got a question on a VW wouldn't it make more sense to send you somewhere that has more insight on the issue?

If I have questions on my 03 rubi 4.0 I visit other places for more precise info rather than ask here where people have traded up. Just think about it.
