Default Popping out of 4wd low

Last weekend I was on a run between Reno and Virginia City and the transfer case kept popping out of 4wd low? 1" body lift. Do I need the teraflex transfer case linkage bracket? This bracket takes the linkage off the body, keeping it from being tweaked from the body lift?

I have had the same thing happen to me once or twice, not sure why it happens though.

Putting in the Terra-flex shifter bracket to take the linkage off the body side. The 1" lift tweaks the angle of the shifter linkage. Terra-flex shifter mounts just to the transfer case. Going o Hollister next weekend to test it out...

Im not positive but I think that shifter bracket is for TJ's. I could be wrong though.

I was riding in a Jeep recently that popped out of 4-lo twice. After the driver pulled it back into 4-lo for the third time I reached over and yanked the lever the rest of the way into 4-lo. He had not been shifting it fully into 4-lo. It did not pop out again.

This weekend while running a trail with the 2011 JKU Rubicon, the transfer case kept kicking out of 4-low, just before it came out the first time the hot oil light came on, trans cooler already ordered... I had been in 4-low for awhile during the climb.... I feel it was in 4-low all the way..... Any ideas on what else could be going on?
