Default TJ 4X4 shifter problem

My friend has a 2002 TJ thats got a 4 inch suspension lift. When you shift the transfer case, the shifter will only go as far as 4wheel high, it will not go to lowrange. He says that it sometimes pops out of 4 wheel high. I am thinking it has to do with the suspension lift since the transfer case was dropped during the process. Any information would be appeciated. Thanks

With the transfer case dropped that happened to a friend of mine. They make a small 1-2" drop bracket for the shifter that attaches to the body. But i would replace it with a skyjacker shifter relocation bracket personally. Hope that helps

I would say get a SYE and new driveshaft and get rid of the transfer case drop because you lose so much clearance with it, but if he is on a budget i would get the shifter linkage.
