TJ Considerations
I had an '04 rubicon and loved it. The ride of my '12 JKU is a ton smoother, but I think most of that was the coils and shocks I had. My wife will take the JKU soon and I'll look for another TJ.
I would recommend setting aside a some $$ to put some good suspension and new gears if it doesn't have them already on it if you want a comfortable DD. Mine had the I6 with a 5-speed, 35 and stock 4.10. High way travel was brutal with minor inclines and a slight headwind. I would have to downshift a lot to maintain 60-65.. And that is Dallas/Fort Worth. Gear were fine when wheeling though.
