What is the cheapest price anyone has seen a LWB TJ for? I'm looking to get a TJ for really cheap cause I'm going to put in a 5.7, fresh paint and lift the thing. I am looking to spend around 5k on the stock Jeep. Anyone out there have an 05 LWB TJ with like 200k miles and want to get rid of it cheap??

 

Sorry for the late response, but I got my LJ for a steal and I got it for $10K. You'll need to find look for one that has been repo'd or crashed and rebuild from there. Or just keep your eyes peeled.

 

Your best bet would probably to find one that had a nuked engine or something and get it for cheap, otherwise you're probably going to see most over $10K.

 

I've been shopping for a LJ as well, here in Colorado I haven't seen any cheaper than $14 k.

 

The rubi LJs are more than used JK rubis here on the lot. I haven't seen one less than 17.5K.


I know you wouldn't want a rubi but I thought I would comment to add to the context.

Central North Carolina. I just bought an 06 last month. It was stickered 19,2. I paid 17,2. It had less than 3K miles. 2006. There are 2 2dr JK rubis for under 19K on the lot I got it from right now. sticker.

 

There is an 06 Rubi LWB at the dealership by my house and they want 23k for the thing. There is no way I am paying that much when I can get a 4 door JK for around the same price.

Oh well though. I gave up on the search for a cheap LJ and just got a TJ. It's already lifted and on 35's. I still need to take some pics of it.
