Default How many of you...

...were amazed at the capabilities of your jeep the first time you had it out on a trail?

Beautiful weather her today so I decided to go find some trails to run.

I ended up on some super tight stuff that anything but a JK might have a problem with. The Jeep blew me away with how easily it handled everything.

I'm sure that it's just the newb in me, but damn it was a good time!

I came from having ifs Toyota's. So yeah I am a true believer in a solid axle and some major flex now

I was really upset to tell the truth till I found how to kill all the ESP systems. Then I was really happy.

I think most people have the same reaction. I came from a Grand Cherokee which was pretty capable, but my new JKUR is waaay more capable - even when it was bone stock
I went wheeling with a buddy about 2 weeks after I got my JKUR. There were a couple of spots where I said to myself "oh, hell no", but made it through like a champ

In all honesty I had no clue how capable Jeeps were. I got mine back in August and never intended to offroad it as much as I do now. Plus offroading it and building it is my hobby and obsession in life now. Enjoy.

I had a '98 TJ Sport, and a '00 Tacoma TRD, so I had experience with decently capable off-road vehicles but yesterday the JKR moved through situations that at first appearance had me concerned but in reality were no big deal.

I was unable to climb hills in 4WD that I could do in 2WD all day long in my pile of rust 20 plus year old blazer with a couple hundred thousand miles on her. The ESP and all that was coming on messing with the brakes and engine rpms. Once I put the kill switch in I've had no complaints other than I could always use more power.

Ha Ha! Sorry to say but we try not to give the secret away, waiting for someone to find out for themselves when BANG! Life changes and the addiction starts.
