It's planned a trip to MOAB for the end of April. Looking at all the pictures and and videos on the internet i see a lot of 4 doors wheeling with the hardtops on. What's the thought process behind wheeling with or without the hardtop on?

Well when I drive 800 mikes to Moab it gets a bit drafty without doors. Trail riding with doors keeps the dust outside instead of my old lungs. Just a coupe of thoughts

I use to wheel my old EB for years without doors and with a soft top. Never again!
I want to be comfortable, warm or cool, not covered with dust etc.
Some areas out here my hardtop clears by 1/2" ..just pay attention.

Those are valid points. I'm trailering out and will probably leave the top on.

better visibility with not doors or top. You can get some good sun as well. Next month expect it to be cold in the mornings.

I trailer my Jeep to Moab with the top on. Once at the rental property, top and sometimes doors comes off before we hit the trails (depends on if kids are with us - no kids, no doors). We do run a cargo cover to keep the dust down, but once home the Jeep gets a full detail (detailer hates when I come home from Moab).

One thing we've learned by going to Moab for EJS every year is that the weather can change on a dime. We drive out, or tow, our rigs with full top and strip down when we get there. Hope that helps!

I am leaving in the morning for Moab. We go every year this time of year and knock on wood it has always been a great time to be there as no people and the weather has always been decent to very nice.

We did one day with the bikini, and one day with top and doors on - based on the weather and time of day! We were out for EJS and it got cold at night, but beautiful during the day - so depended on the forecast.
