4x4 (44) here. Had a cj7 way back in the day, when I met the wife. Then nothing forever. Now this year back in with a 2016 JKUR and then she got a 2017 Sahara jk 2 months ago. So we are absolutely a jeep family. Feels good to be back on the jeep side.

I'm 67 and have owned our 2007 Sahara since new (10 years now) - yet I'm still listed as a JK Newbie in my profile. What's up with that?

I'll be 60 in June, send gifts ! lol My first real 4 wheeling was with friends in an old landcruiser wagon in 1975, senior year of high school. When I graduated my best friend and myself drove an FJ40 from so. cal. to Alaska to work on the oil pipe line. The Alaska highway was not paved yet as it is today, it was about 1700 miles of dirt road as I remember. I didn't really 4 wheel again until I was married with kids and bought an Isuzu Trooper. Still didn't wheel that much until I bought a FSJ, a Grand wagoneer. That is when I really got hooked. That's when I found a '62 Willys wagon, bought and built it, wheeled it quite a bit. When I saw a 2008 JKUR at a dealer I fell in love and bought it new and traded in my FSJ, and my DD. I eventually sold the willys and bought another '61 Willys wagon and that was probably 5 years ago. Kids grew up and moved out and we decided to move someplace that was more conducive to wheeling so now we live in Reno, about an hour from the Rubicon. We still have the 2008 JKUR and the '61. Wew try to wheel as often as we can and both Jeeps are fairly well built, especially the Willys wagon. We will continue wheeling forever, or as long as our health will allow.

53 here.........had an 87' YJ for about ten years; bought it new; then sold it.......now just recently returned with the purchase of a used 2015 with only 15,000 miles on it....so far added floor mats and cheap 33" mud tires..........will re-gear, add lockers, lift, add bumpers and wench......then 35's after these wear out, that's about it.......in no hurry....
