Default Tire and wheel fitment

Hey everyone I have been looking for a new tire set up and have been wondering what's the biggest bang for its buck but also I've been wondering if the 285/70/17 would fit on a 17/9 wheel I've been told it hasn't but then I can't find a wider wheel thanks Justin

The tire will fit on the wheel fine.....as to best 'bang for the buck', it depends on what you want to do

The duratracs may be a good fit for you. They seem to last a while, are quiet, do decent in the mud and rocks, and are great for rain, snow, etc.

Bang for the buck is all subjective though....I bought some mickey thompson claws for my daily driver and got roundabouts 40k miles out of them (4 tire rotation). They were great for me since they worked well on the road and they were pure traction when I went on anything but pavement.

It seems as though everyone is on the Nitto bandwagon but I wouldn't recommend against the Mickey's. They start out a little deeper than typical tires of the same size- usually 21/32" or so.

It'll fit, I'm running my stock 255/70/18 on a 9" rim lol I plan on upgrading to 295/70/18 nitto terras, I do mostly pavement driving. I have nittos on my truck and they still look brand new, just keep up on the rotations.

I personally would run the Duratracs before I would the Nittos. After seeing them perform on a friends Jeep and our company trucks I'll pass on them.
