I have a 730n RHR from a '12 Ram that works just fine. Bought it off ebay and installed and then found out that only a few phones work with the text messaging function. Not mine and this function was the major reason for purchase. I think that the 430n RHB would better suit my needs. I'll trade straight up but I'll need everything that makes uconnect work. The 730n only needs a mic, uconnect is integrated into the unit. So, your 430n with uconnect module and all that for my 730n.

I'd prefer a trade, less hassle that way but I'll keep looking for RHBs for sell and if I find one with the uconnect module for a reasonable price, I could sell mine then buy that.

Yes, I had to stop by the dealer to get it. 3 minutes later I had it for free. If I sell/trade, I'll email the code.

No because I'd run into the same problem. From what I've researched, it looks like the 430n RHB would be my only option. Unless, someone can chime in and school me on which uconnect radios would fit my needs.

What all are you looking to do, and what phone are you trying to use? I can do some research and know some people with both radios to test options.
