Getting involved with a wrecked wrangler
My buddy "wrecked" his JK and the insurance company offered him to buy it back and I might be interested in buying it from him.
The frame and rails in the front "appear" to be straight, but there is some structural damage as shown in the pictures, to the radiator components, and support rails.
I can get a really good deal on this jeep if I buy it from him through his insurance, but I wanted to see what others think.
It runs, no airbag deployment and has lower miles.
Just wondering what others think.

What year is it and the actual miles.. Looking at the pics.. would want to know more about what is on the Ins Co Estimate.. If no frame damage it all depends on the price .. Do you have access to the tools and equipment? Reconstruction vehicle inspection for inspection stickers; R title / Salvage title too.

Something to keep in mind depending on how much you'd plan to invest with regards to repairs and whatever build you'd do...with an R-title a lot of car insurance companies won't let you carry anything but basic liability on them and I know some that won't cover them at all. Curious what the buy-back is because running and driving there's A LOT of salvage value in that jeep and usually buy-backs can be priced accordingly.
