Adding a CB radio.
I have been thinking about installing a CB in my rig. Can some of ya'll show me your setups and reccomend a good CB. Thanks in advance.

This is what I did with mine. It doesn't get in my way at all. The passenger usually isn't bothered by it. It is very easy to reach and adjust, and the mic is totally out of the way but very easy to get to.
Its the Cobra 29 LX. Very easy to use, has a built in SWR meter for easy set up and one less item you need to purchase.
Its very powerful and comes through clear.
Sorry for the muddy interior. Just got back from wheeling and haven't cleaned it yet.

I use a quadratec bracket off the TF spare tire mount. I ran the cable through the tailgate and under all of the carpet. I drilled into the bottom of the center console and have my CB hooked into the cigg lighter in there. I love it. Very clean, easy to get to and functional. You can see the 3 foot firestick behind the spare
