Can a Radio Shack SWR meter be used to test dual band Ham SWR?

I work in Tustin if you have any issues and want to test with my MFJ-259 I'd be happy to meet up.

thanks dave, i should be good with mine. haven't tested with it yet, busy getting ready to go to our early bronco 3 day event in the anza borrego desert this weekend. we'll see how the hams work then and if i don't get them tested before i leave i can do it there. one of our guys that will be there has the old reliable Daiwa CN-410M as a backup if needed.

haha.. As soon as I get a quad on the roof it's on the way! Still need to finish my 6m loop, 2m loop, 2m vert for the house, 80m NVIS in Mexico (if I ever get my XE permit) and....

tested swr on the trip, got 2.0 with the 18" comet on the hood mount, 1.4 with the 38" diamond on either the hood mount or the rear ARR mount. even the comet at 2.0 worked well transmitting and receiving - first day was cloudy and we heard and transmitted to other runs from our group many miles away on simplex.
